Panhandle Saddle Club Road Trip to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park
The Panhandle Saddle Club is planning a Fall road trip to the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park the weekend of 10, 11 and 12 August. (You can check in before the 10th if you like.)
They have about 50 miles of trails and most of it is under big Cypress trees.
We will have a cook-out Friday and Saturday evening starting around 5:30 pm. Bring a side and the meat you would like to cook. The Club will provide plates and utensils. The band starts at 8 pm on Saturday.

They have several choices for camping sites or cabins:
Sites: 30 amps & Water, pump out station: $30.00 per night.
They have full hook-up spots that cost a little more.
Stalls: $15 per. Night.

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is conveniently located near Live Oak, Florida, between Interstates 75 and 10. From I-10: Take exit 283 and go north on US 129, 4.5 miles.
Panhandle Saddle Club Fall Road Trip to Buffalo River Trail Ride
Club members, this is your opportunity to take a road trip with our club for a fun-filled week of Tennessee Trail Riding. Campsites are shaded, have water and electricity. There is a pump-out station close by. Modern bath-houses and laundry facility, three meals a day (Good Tennessee Country Cooking), Music Nightly, Fun Horse Show! Farrier is available, tack vendor, professional photography and a Fun Auction.
The tree leaves are turning and it is beautiful. The trails are marked and, in some places, challenging. Guided rides for slow and fast horses or go on your own.
If you are worried about traveling alone, you can convoy with Carol & Tom.
Date: Saturday, October 20th – Riders welcome
Monday, October 22nd – Trail Ride begins
Sunday, October 28th – Trail Ride ends
Cost for everything, three meals a day, parking spot, stalls and entertainment is only $275.00 for adults.
They are giving our club a 10% discount if we can guarantee ten people. That’s a big savings. Carol & Tom have already signed up. Just need eight more for the discount.
Get your reservations early. They fill up fast.

Dixie National Quarter Horse Show
The Dixie National Quarter Horse Show is a full seven days, Feb 12- Feb 17, that showcase the quality and physical abilities of the American Quarter Horse. We have a Special Event Roping Double Judged, additional roping classes, reining, working cow horse, ranch riding, trail, halter, showmanship, horsemanship, western riding, western pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Over Fences classes, barrels, stakes and pole classes covering two arenas.
The “Southern Classic Horse Sale” is Saturday, February 16, 2019, in the Livestock Sales Arena.
In addition, there is a “Shop & Watch” trade show in the upper level of the Watson Ford Equine Center, Wed-Sun. Come and shop for the most current trends in jewelry, show clothes, hats, tack, trucks, trailers, John Deere tractors. Spectator admission is free to all events EXCEPT Free Style Reining, held Friday night. Doors Open at 6:00 pm, admission is $5.00 per person.
