Our story is of a life-long love of horses and horse people. I met my wife, Shelly, in 1976 at a barrel horse event in Americus, Georgia. It was love at first site. I married her in 1980, so the math works out to 38 plus years. Our first child, Tiffany Dale Beasley, and our second, Bert Dale, were born in 1983 and 1985.
We have had horses since birth and have shown in the Heart of Georgia Circuit, Peach State Paint Horse Club, Georgia Paint Horse Club, and Georgia AQHA. Over the years we have shown western and English, team penning (wish it would make a comeback) and were avid trail riders.
We have traveled the southeast and shown in many states. My wife and daughter are past futurity winners, and both were in the top percent of their divisions with APHA. I was the President of Peach State Paint Horse Club and, for several years, judged association shows in Georgia (looking to get back into judging if anyone reading this needs to add a judge to their rotation).
We live in Perry, Georgia, and Wetumpka, Alabama. Our farm is called Beasley Performance Horses. We train and breed quality running horses.
We are now a Dealer for D&D Nutrition horse feeds. It’s a new product formulated by Trey Dove in Midland, Texas. It’s the best product on the market. We are excited to be carrying this product.
